Human Resources Department
The mission of the Human Resources Department is to ensure that the standards of employment are applied in a fair and equitable manner to all employees and applicants in accordance to all applicable State and Federal rules and regulations. In addition, Human Resources provides comprehensive administrative support through personnel policies and general activities to all City departments consistent with organizational objectives.
One of the many challenges that faces Human Resources today involves the recruitment, training and retention of a highly motivated work force.
One of the employment objectives of the Mayor and his administration is to strive to achieve for each employee personal job satisfaction and continued professional development.
