The City of Nashua NH, Tax Collector’s Office is a department within the Financial Services Division. We are located downtown Nashua at City Hall, 229 Main Street. Our primary purpose is to bill and collect various taxes and fees for the City. We strive to provide courteous and accurate responses to questions. To expedite our ability to assist you, please have your account number available when contacting us.

The Tax Collector’s Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the following:

· Property Taxes

· Waste Water Fees

· Entrance, Betterment & Connection Fees

· Miscellaneous Taxes (Current Use, Yield, Timber)

· Lien amounts for Taxes and Wastewater

· Lease Parking

· Municipal Solid Waste

Low and Moderate Income Homeowners Property Tax Relief Annually: May 1- June 30. The next Low and Moderate Homeowner's Property Tax Relief Program Begins May 1, 2007.

Fourth quarter residential sewer bills are due on May 30, 2007

Tax Billing Update

Since the due date for payment of the 2006 Real Estate Tax final billing has passed and Notice of Impending Tax Lien has been issued, we recommend you contact the Tax Office for the correct payoff contact us.

The tax rate for the City Of Nashua, NH for the year 2006 was set at $17.20 per thousand of the assessed value.  The First half Property taxes will be due July 2, 2007.
